About Taylor Teague MD
Taylor T. Teague, MD, FACP, is a boardcertified pulmonary, critical care & sleep medicine physician at UT Health East Texas Pulmonary Institute at North Campus Tyler. She sees adult patients for pulmonary and critical care and patients 12 years and older for sleep medicine. Her father is a physician and his example inspired her career path. My father practices in a small, rural town. Growing up, I got to see what an impact he made with his patients and his community. I hope to use my medical skills and not only make a difference in my patients’ lives, but also in my community.” Dr. Teague says she was drawn to sleep medicine because of the growing need in the field. Sleep medicine is a very much underserved specialty, meaning the number of patients suffering from a sleep disorder greatly outnumbers providers who are trained to diagnose and treat those disorders. I hope to make it easier for patients to obtain evaluation and treatment.” When not treating patients, Dr. Teague enjoys spending time with her husband, three boys and their yellow lab.

Dr. Teague is kind, and extremely intelligent in her field. She takes the time to listen to you and seems genuinely concerned. The reason I would be hesitant to refer her would be because of the hassle of not being able to reach her if needed. The call center ordeal is a deal breaker.

Dr Teague was EXCELLENT. I had moved from sleep apnea Dr from another clinic to her for a second opinion. Was very happy with her, her staff, and her attention to details. She pulled my card from my machine and was very pleased with the numbers and the results of the treatment it was providing me. She talked me thought the next steps for plan of action.

My appointment with Dr. Teague went very well. She was very patient to listen to all of my comments as well as answering all of my questions. I love the UT North campus! I live in a rural area west of Gilmer and I am glad I don't have to drive all the way to Tyler. The physician and staff are nice and care. It is a nice facility and so much more convenient to where I live.
