“I believe in holistic care, treating the whole child, not just the symptoms,” says Stacy Echetebu, MD. “My goal is to provide comprehensive care that supports both physical and emotional well-being.” She strives to create a nurturing environment where children and families feel supported, understood and empowered in every stage of their health journey. “My passion for helping others, combined with a fascination for diagnosing and managing medical conditions, naturally led me to a career in medicine,” Dr. Echetebu says. “It’s deeply rewarding to guide families through their health journeys and make a meaningful impact.” Her approach is grounded in compassion, communication and partnership with families, ensuring that care decisions are always made collaboratively. Dr. Echetebu cares for pediatric patients from birth through age 18, with a special interest in preventive care and mental health support. “I chose pediatrics because the early years are foundational,” she says. “Supporting children during these critical developmental stages is key to setting them up for a healthy adulthood.” She works closely with families and specialists to provide comprehensive, high-quality care that addresses each child’s physical, emotional and developmental needs. Dr. Echetebu is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
