UT Health Pittsburg
Gregory S. Zarcone, DO, FACP, is a board-certified hospitalist at UT Health Pittsburg. An internist for 25 years, Dr. Zarcone chose to become a doctor because of his family. “My choice to become a doctor was largely influenced by my dad and sister who are both practicing physicians.”
Dr. Zarcone chose internal medicine because of the variety it brings to the field of medicine. “It allowed me the opportunity to participate in all aspects of medicine and the delivery of both primary care and hospital medicine. I enjoy being a partner with a patient and their family, in lending them guidance. I always strive to maintain a holistic approach to the practice of medicine.”
Dr. Zarcone’s personal hobbies include cooking and fitness, in addition to music and photography.
Dr. Zarcone is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
